I remember starting this song in a hotel room in Florida a few months ago. I was hanging out with some friends and we brought in guitars and did a jam in the hotel room and just hung out. One of my friends Shelby had a recording of some birds from a walk, and so she sent that to me, and I added a really cool arpeggio sound on top of that. But that was it until two weeks ago when I opened that project back up in Ableton Live, the program I used to make recordings.

There’s something really nice about telling myself that i’m going to finish. Before, I would work on a song until I got stuck, and then would just move on. Now, i’m telling myself to finish no matter what. This mindset has already led me to finish two songs in a month, which is the most i’ve done ever! so i’m really proud to share my progress, and it will only get better.
